Baby Gavin revisited
Friday January 12th, 2007 @ 1:15 pm by Melissa
I contacted Gavin’s mom’s cousin, Kristin, who co-authors their website Save Baby Gavin, to ask if they could either give me a banner ad about Gavin, or if I could make one for them. They actually did have one, which is awesome, that another family member made. I redesigned it a little so it would be the standard full banner size, and now I’ve got it on Explore Jefferson County.
I emailed Kristin and told her this helped me out, too, because it finally made me sit down a second and figure out my website banner ad maintenance. Joomla! has a really nice little banner ad admin program where I can monitor banner ad impressions and hits, which is pretty cool.
Best of luck to Gavin and all of his family, whom all seem so involved in his wellbeing and fundraising efforts.

Thanks Melissa for your help with advertising Gavin’s cause. It is much appreciated by our family.
Kristin, you’re very welcome. Please remember if there’s anything else I can do, let me know.
Hi! I was wondering if you are able to send me the banner so that I can put it on my blog?! I am not very good at this stuff, but want to try and figure it out. I am a college friend of Jills!
Thanks
Beth

You bet, Beth. I’m e-mailing it to you right now (2 versions - a black one and a white one).
